Trachycarpus martianus (juga dikenal sebagai palem kipas Martius) adalah pohon dari keluarga Arecaceae. Terdapat dua populasi yang berbeda: satu pada ketinggian 1.500 m (5.000 ft) di Bukit Khasia, negara bagian Meghalaya, di timur laut India, dan yang lainnya pada ketinggian 2.400 m (8.000 ft) di utara tengah Nepal. Populasi lain telah dilaporkan di Assam, Sikkim, Myanmar, dan selatan Tiongkok.[1][2] Karakteristik identifikasi utama adalah pembelahan daun yang teratur (hingga sekitar setengah bagian), biji berbentuk biji kopi (terlihat mirip dengan Trachycarpus latisectus), dan batang yang halus, berbeda dengan batang berserat. Tunas daun baru dan tepi tangkai daun ditutupi dengan tomentum putih.[3][4][5]

Spesies ini dinamai menurut ahli botani Jerman Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius (1794-1868).[6]

Pohon ini digunakan dalam pembuatan Jhapi, penutup kepala tradisional yang sering digunakan untuk menghormati tamu di Assam.
