Trichotemnoma adalah genus lumut hati yang terbatas pada Selandia Baru dan Tasmania, dan berisi satu spesies tunggal Trichotemnoma corrugatum. Genus ini diklasifikasikan dalam ordo Jungermanniales dan merupakan satu-satunya anggota dari famili Trichotemnomataceae di dalam ordo tersebut. Nama generik Trichotemnona pertama kali diterbitkan pada tahun 1964, namun publikasi tersebut tidak valid menurut ICBN.[2]
