Trombin (bahasa Inggris: Thrombin,^[3] Factor II, FIIcode: en is deprecated ) adalah sejenis glikoprotein yang dibentuk oleh dan disimpan dalam hati. Sekresi protrombin ke dalam plasma darah terjadi karena stimulasi dari tromboplastin dan ion kalsium pada proses koagulasi.^[4] Dalam proses tersebut, protrombin kemudian dikonversi menjadi trombin^[5] oleh protrombinase.^[6] Lebih lanjut, trombin akan mengkonversi fibrinogen menjadi fibrin.^[6]

Vitamin K merupakan senyawa organik yang sangat penting pada sintesis protrombin.^[6]^[7]
