Sir Walter Lawry Buller KCMG (9 Oktober 1838 – 19 Juli 1906) adalah seorang pengacara dan naturalis Selandia Baru yang menjadi figur dominan dalam ornitologi Selandia Baru. Bukunya, A History of the Birds of New Zealand, yang mula-mula diterbitkan pada 1873, diterbitkan sebagai versi perluasan pada 1888 dan menjadi karya klasik Selandia Baru.
