Yushania farcticaulis adalah spesies bambu dalam suku rumput-rumputan, yang termasuk dalam genus Yushania di tribus Arundinarieae.[1] Spesies ini dideskripsikan oleh T.P. Yi.[2] Epitet spesifik farcticaulis berarti "batang padat", yang merujuk pada ruas batang spesies ini yang padat atau hampir padat.[1] Ini adalah bambu hijau abadi yang dicirikan oleh rimpang pakimorf berleher panjang dan batang yang menyebar, tumbuh di habitat pegunungan di Tiongkok barat daya.[1] Spesies ini terdaftar dalam *World Checklist of Bamboos and Rattans* sebagai nama yang diterima.[3]
