Yushania farinosa adalah spesies bambu dari suku rumput-rumputan, yang termasuk dalam marga Yushania di tribus Arundinarieae.[1] Spesies ini dideskripsikan oleh Z.P. Wang dan G.H. Ye.[1] Epitet spesifik farinosa berarti "bertepung" atau "berbubuk", yang merujuk pada lapisan lilin atau farinosa pada ruas batang.[1] Ini adalah bambu hijau abadi dengan rimpang pakimorf berleher panjang, yang tumbuh di hutan pegunungan di Tiongkok barat daya pada ketinggian antara sekitar 1.000 hingga 3.800 meter, kisaran ketinggian yang khas bagi marga ini.[2] Spesies ini terdaftar sebagai nama yang diterima dalam Plants of the World Online.[3]
