I'm not pleased with the color, or the picture. If you want to propose a different picture, pick one off wikimedia (perhaps one of Justinian? That's sort of the conventional images of Byzantium here on wiki), change the format a little and I will not protest, but it certainly can't stay as plain as it was before.

Should we create an article for Byzantine law? Currently Byzantine law redirects to Corpus Iuris Civilis but there is of course much more to it than simply the Corpus.
