Magazyn informuje o ważnych niemieckojęzycznych i międzynarodowych nowościach z gatunków science fiction, fantasy i horroru, a także publikuje w każdym numerze kilka opowiadań. Zawiera wywiady, artykuły i felietony, a także reportaże, a także informacje na temat komiksów i filmów[potrzebny przypis].
Historia
Numery od 1 do 46 były wydawane w latach 2001–2012 przez wydawnictwo Achim Havemann Publishing House, w nakładzie od 1200 do 2000 egzemplarzy. Numery od 47 do 98 wydawano w larach 2012-2025 przez Atlantis Verlag w nakładzie od 1500 do 1800 egzemplarzy. Numer 99 nie został opublikowany w planowanym terminie (październik 2025). W maju 2026 opublikowano wydanie specjalne, które było bezpłatnie dołączone do magazynu „SOL”, tworzonego dla członków Perry Rhodan Fan Center (numer 122). Kilkaset egzemplarzy wysłano również do Calliope Media[1]. Od 2026, od numeru 100, czasopismo „phantastisch!” jest wydawane przez Calliope Media[2]. Nakład wynosi 1300 egzemplarzy[potrzebny przypis].
