Plaxiscelis mirifica – gatunek pluskwiaka z podrzędu różnoskrzydłych i rodziny wtykowatych.
Gatunek ten opisany został po raz pierwszy w 1895 roku przez Arnolda Luciena Montandona na łamach „Annales de la Société Entomologique de France” pod nazwą Placoscelis mirifica. Jako miejsce typowe wskazano Cumbase na północy Brazylii[1]. Nazwę Placoscelis uznano za młodszy synonim Plaxiscelis, stąd obecna kombinacja[1][2].
Głowa ma jednobarwne dwa ostatnie człony czułków, czym różni się od P. plebeja. Kolor tarczki jest bladożółty. Półpokrywy odznaczają się przykrywką i międzykrywką czarnymi z mocnym, zielonym połyskiem metalicznym. Odnóża pozbawione są czarnych kropek i udziału barwy pomarańczowej na udach. W przeciwieństwie do P. semilineata tylne golenie są jednolicie ubarwione[3].
Owad neotropikalny, południowoamerykański, znany z Ekwadoru, Peru i Brazylii[1][2].
