Szablon podobnie jak {{JPL}} wstawia łącze zewnętrzne do bazy planetoid Jet Propulsion Laboratory z tą różnicą, że ten szablon kieruje do strony generującej orbity planetoid. Użycie:

lub

{{JPLorb|id|opis}}

gdzie id jest numerem kolejnym planetoidy lub komety okresowej (wówczas zakończonym literą P), bądź jej oznaczeniem tymczasowym; opis (opcjonalny; domyślnie taki, jak nazwa strony) jest tekstem, jaki ma być wstawiony jako link. Przykłady użycia:
