Xert[1][2] (kat. wym. [tʃɛɾt]; hiszp. Chert, wym. [tʃeɾt])[a] – gmina w Hiszpanii, w prowincji Castellón, we wspólnocie autonomicznej Walencja.

Położona w comarce Baix Maestrat gmina ma powierzchnię 82,51 km²[1][2]. W 2018 roku liczyła 725 mieszkańców[1][2]. W 2015 roku alkadem został José Rosendo Segarra Ferreres z Partii Ludowej[1].

Uwagi

  1. ↑ Do 1992 roku charakter urzędowy miała jedynie hiszpańska nazwa Chert. Dekretem z 23 listopada 1992 rząd Walencji zatwierdził zmianę nazwy gminy i przyjęcie jako równoważnej nazwy walenckiej (katalońskiej) – Xert[3]. Dekretem Rady Generalitat Valenciana z 4 lipca 2014 r. urzędowy charakter przyznano wyłącznie nazwie walenckiej[4].
