Yamdena – największa wyspa w archipelagu Tanimbar, należącym do Indonezji[1]. Leży pomiędzy morzami Banda i Arafura. Otacza ją kilkadziesiąt mniejszych wysp i wysepek[1].
Powierzchnia wyspy wynosi ok. 3000 km²[1]. W roku 1997 wyspę zamieszkiwało 80 tysięcy mieszkańców[2].
Głównym miastem wyspy jest Saumlaki[1].
Mieszkańcy wyspy posługują się językiem yamdena[3].
