Charenton-le-Pont merupakan sebuah komune di pinggiran tenggara Paris, Prancis. Terletak 6.2 km (3.8 mil) dari pusat kota Paris. Merupakan salah satu kotamadya terpadat di Eropa.

Rumah Sakit Psikiatris Charenton terletak di komune tetangga Charenton-Saint-Maurice, yang mengubah namanya tahun 1842 menjadi Saint Maurice.

Sejarah

Tanggal 1 Januari 1860, kota Paris diperluas dengan menganeksasi komune sekitarnya. Dengan itu, setengah komune Bercy dianeksasi ke kota Paris, dan setengah lainnya diberikan pada Charenton-le-Pont.

Tahun 1929, komune Charenton-le-Pont kehilangan sepertiga teritorinya ketika kota Paris menganeksasi Bois de Vincennes, sebagian kecil yang dimiliki Charenton-le-Pont.

Charenton-le-Pont dilayani oleh dua stasiun pada Métro de Paris Jalur 8: Liberté dan Charenton — Écoles.
