Codot kepala-hitam[2] (Chironax melanocephalus) atau Bukal kepala-hitam[3] adalah sebuah spesies codot dalam genus monotipik Chironax.

Sebaran

Tujuh spesimen C. melanocephalus dikumpulkan dari hutan dataran rendah di Kubah dan Lambir, serta dari hutan pantai di Samunsam, Sarawak di Kalimantan. Spesimen yang terjaring-kabut di Taman Nasional Kubah pada 12 Juli 1995 adalah yang pertama kali terlapor di Sarawak (Abdullah et al. 1997). Menurut Payne et al. (1985) sebaran C. melanocephalus di Kalimantan hanya ditemukan di Sepilok di Sabah dan Temburong di Brunei. Jangkauannya meliputi Thailand, Semenanjung Malaysia, Sumatra, Jawa, dan Sulawesi (Payne et al. 1985).
