Epachthosaurus (yang berarti "kadal berat") adalah genus dinosaurus sauropoda titanosauria, yang termasuk dalam Lithostrotia, dari periode Kapur Akhir di Patagonia Tengah dan Utara di Amerika Selatan.

Spesies tipenya, E. sciuttoi, dideskripsikan oleh Powell pada 1990.[1] Tulang-tulang yang dikaitkan dengan genus ini oleh Powell pada 1990 awalnya dianggap sebagai milik Antarctosaurus sp., dan kemudian milik Argyrosaurus superbus, sebelum akhirnya dinamai sebagai taksonnya sendiri.[1]

Spesimen holotipenya adalah MACN-CH 1317, yang terdiri dari vertebra dorsal posterior yang tidak lengkap.[1][2]
