Mobil ini dirancang oleh James Allison dan Nicholas Tombazis, dengan input masukan dari Rory Byrne. Mobil ini diluncurkan di Maranello pada tanggal 25 Januari 2014. Mobil ini dikendarai oleh Fernando Alonso dan Kimi Räikkönen.
