Nigel Stepney (14 November 1958 – 2 Mei 2014) merupakan seorang mekanik Formula Satu asal Inggris. Stepney memulai karier di ajang F1 sebagai mekanik di tim Shadow pada 1977, dan kemudian ia pindah ke Lotus bersama Elio de Angelis, dan kemudian pindah lagi ke Benetton di pertengahan 1980-an. Pada era 1990-an ia bekerjasama dengan Michael Schumacher, Rory Byrne, dan Ross Brawn. Ia kemudian bergabung ke Ferrari bersama mereka bertiga.

Pada pertengahan 2007 ia kemudian tersandung kasus spionase bersama temannya di tim McLaren, Mike Coughlan. Dalam penyelidikan pengadilan, dirinya terbukti bersalah karena telah menggandakan dokumen setebal 780 halaman milik Ferrari. Ia akhirnya dipecat menjelang musim 2007 berakhir setelah vonis pengadilan dikeluarkan.

Stepney tewas pada sebuah kecelakaan lalu lintas tanggal 2 Mei 2014 di Ashford, Kent, Inggris.[1][2][3]
