Herbarium Celebense

Herbarium Celebense adalah sebuah herbarium yang terletak di Kota Palu. Fungsi dari Herbarium Celebense sebagai tempat penelitian tumbuhan yang tumbuh di Sulawesi. Jumlah spesimen yang dikoleksi oleh Herbarium Celebense hampir mencapai 5.000 spesimen yang meliputi tumbuhan berbiji belah, tumbuhan berkeping biji tunggal, tumbuhan berbiji terbuka, dan tumbuhan paku. Selain itu, di Herbarium Celebense terdapat artefak etnobotani dan koleksi basah. Koleksi spesimen di Herbarium Celebense diperoleh dari Taman Nasional Lore Lindu, Taman Hutan Raya Palu, Kabupaten Morowali, Kepulauan Togean, dan kawasan perlindungan di Sulawesi Tengah. Spesimen yang dijadikan sebagai bahan penelitian meliputi Fabaceae, Annonaceae, terna, bakau dan pohon endemik Sulawesi. Herbarium Celebense didirikan pada tahun 2000 dan dikelola oleh Universitas Tadulako. Dalam menyelenggarakan penelitian, Herbarium Celebense bekerja sama dengan Kebun Raya Bogor. Alamat Herbarium Celebense di Kampus Bumi Tadulako-Tondo, Jalan Soekarno-Hatta, Kota Palu.[1]
