John McDougall (lahir di County Ross, Ohio, ca. 1818 – meninggal di San Francisco, California, 30 Maret 1866 pada umur 48) adalah seorang politisi Amerika Serikat yang menjabat sebagai wakil gubernur California pertama dari 20 Desember 1849 sampai 9 Januari 1851, dan kemudian gubernur California kedua dari 9 Januari 1851 sampai 8 Januari 1852.
McDougall meninggal di San Francisco pada tanggal 30 Maret 1866, pada usia 48. Seiring dengan J. Neely Johnson, McDougall adalah salah satu gubernur termuda meninggal setelah meninggalkan kantor.
