Roystonea stellata adalah sebuah spesies palem yang merupakan endemik dari wilayah Yagruma, kawasan Maisí, Provinsi Guantánamo, timur Kuba. Spesies tersebut diketahui dari satu-satunya koleksi tunggal yang dimiliki oleh botanis kelahiran Prancis Frère León pada 1939, dan mungkin telah punah.

Deskripsi

Roystonea stellata adalah sebuah palem besar yang mencapai tinggi 15 meter (49 ft).[2]

Status

Tak diketahui apakah spesies tersebut masih ada, karena tiada spesimen yang ditemukan dalam survei 1990 pada satu-satunya habitat yang diketahui. Meskipun belum terkonfirmasi, R. stellata mungkin telah punah.[3]
