Sciadopitys, yang umum disebut pohon kōyamaki, adalah genus konifer yang endemik di Jepang. Ini adalah satu-satunya genus pohon payung yang masih hidup dalam keluarga Sciadopityaceae. Fosil tertua Sciadopitys berasal dari zaman Kapur Akhir di Jepang, dan genus ini tersebar luas di Laurasia selama sebagian besar era Kenozoikum, terutama di Eropa hingga masa Pliosen. Sciadopitys memiliki satu anggota yang masih hidup, yaitu S. verticillata.[1] Genus ini juga pernah ada di Amerika Serikat hingga masa Pliosen.[2]
