Tamandua selatan atau pemakan semut berkerah atau pemakan semut kecil (Tamandua tetradactyla) adalah sebuah spesies pemakan semut yang tersebar di Amerika Selatan dan pulau Trinidad di Karibia. Kebiasaan hidup dari tamandua selatan adalah menyendiri. Habitat tamandua selatan menyebar di hutan dewasa sampai ke hutan-hutan sekunder yang sangat terganggu dan sabana yang kering. Tamandua selatan memakan semut, lebah dan rayap. Pada tubuh tamandua selatan terdapat cakar depan yang kuat untuk menghancurkan sarang serangga atau pertahanan diri.
