Tapir baird (Tapirus bairdii) adalah salah satu dari tiga spesies tapir yang dapat ditemui di Amerika Latin.
Tapir Baird dapat ditemui di hutan Amerika Tengah, termasuk Meksiko tenggara, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Kosta Rika, Nikaragua, Panama, dan kemungkinan Kolombia dan Ekuador.[4]
Binatang ini kini terancam di alam bebas.
