Kahu adalah sebuah kecamatan di Kabupaten Bone, Sulawesi Selatan, Indonesia. Sebutan Kahu berasal dari Bahasa Bugis yaitu “Awu” yang berarti “Debu”. Sehingga dapat dimaknai sebagai Dataran yang berdebu. Dalam makna lain disebutkan bahwa makna debu itu adalah motto dari kerajaan kahu itu sendiri ketika berperang “Lebih baik bertempur sampi menjadi debu daripada menyerah”.
