Toyota Kenya Limited adalah anak perusahaan yang sepenuhnya dimiliki oleh Toyota yang berbasis di Nairobi, Kenya. Perusahaan ini didirikan pada Januari 2012 sebagai penerus Toyota East Africa Limited. Perusahaan ini adalah importir dan distributor kendaraan Toyota, Yamaha, Hino dan Suzuki ke Kenya.
History
Toyota East Africa Limited memiliki kendaraan yang diproduksi oleh Associated Vehicle Assemblers sejak tahun 1977.[1] Kendaraan yang dirakit termasuk Toyota Land Cruiser dan Toyota Hilux.[1][2]
Pada Januari 2012, Toyota East Africa Limited digantikan oleh Toyota Kenya Limited.
Pada tahun 2013, perakitan truk Hino dimulai di Associated Vehicle Assemblers. Toyota menginvestasikan KSh. 500 juta (sekitar €5 juta).[3]
