Tungkol biasa[2] (Megaerops ecaudatus) atau Tungkol umum[3] () adalah spesies tungkol dalam famili Pteropodidae.

Individu spesies ini telah ditemukan di hutan primer dataran rendah di Poring, Sabah dan Taleban di Thailand, Dataran Tinggi Bario serta hutan sekunder Balui, keduanya di Sarawak. Tungkol ini tersebar di hutan primer dan habitat terbuka[4] dari Thailand, Vietnam, Semenanjung Malaysia, Sumatra; Kinabalu, Danum, Tawau, dan Tenom di Sabah; Temburong dan Tasik Merimbun di Brunei; Bario di Sarawak; ke Kapuas dan Kutai di Kalimantan.[5]
