Café Procope
Café Procope di Rue de l'Ancienne Comédie adalah sebuah kafe di arondisemen ke-6 Paris. Dibuka pada tahun 1686 oleh koki Sisilia Procopio Cutò (juga dikenal dengan nama Italianya Francesco Procopio dei Coltelli dan nama Prancisnya François Procope); itu menjadi pusat komunitas seni dan sastra Paris pada abad ke-18 dan ke-19. Kadang-kadang disebut sebagai kafe tertua di Paris yang terus beroperasi; tetapi, kafe asli ditutup pada tahun 1872 dan tidak dibuka kembali sebagai kafe hingga tahun 1920-an, sehingga klaim "kafe tertua yang terus beroperasi" tidak sepenuhnya benar.
Marie Antoinette dan Napoleon diketahui sering mengunjungi restoran tersebut.[1]
