Padmaja Naidu
Padmaja Naidu (1900 – 2 Mei 1975[1]) adalah seorang penggiat dan politikus asal India.
Kehidupan awal
Ia lahir dari pejuang kemerdekaan India, Sarojini Naidu.[2]
Pada usia 21 tahun, ia masuk Kongres Nasional India di negara bagian Hyderabad. Ia ditahan karena ikut serta dalam gerakan "Keluar India" pada 1942. Setelah merdeka, ia menjadi Gubernur Bengal Barat. Ia juga berasosiasi dengan Palang Merah dan ketua Palang Merah India dari 1971 sampai 1972.[3]
Taman Zoologi Himalaya Padmaja Naidu di Darjeeling mengambil nama dari namanya.
