Tupai madras (Anathana ellioti), atau yang dikenal sebagai tupai india, adalah sebuah spesies tupai dalam genus monotipik Anathana, yang dapat ditemukan di hutan-hutan perbukitan di India tengah dan selatan. Nama genusnya berasal dari kata Tamil moongil anathaan (secara harfiah, "tupai bambu") sementara nama spesiesnya dinamai bedasarkan Sir Walter Elliot di Pamong Praja India di Madras.
