Interleukin-15, IL-15 (bahasa Inggris: MGC9721code: en is deprecated ) adalah sitokin yang disekresikan oleh beragam sel dan jaringan tubuh yang berperan dalam aktivasi dan proliferasi sel NK dan sel T.^[4] IL-15 mempunyai beberapa kemiripan dengan IL-2 dalam hal aktivitas seluler.^[5] Kedua sitokina ini mengikat sub-unit reseptor hematopoietin yang sama, walaupun masing-masing memiliki fungsi yang berbeda. Rasio dari sel T memori dengan ekspresi CD8 dikendalikan oleh rasio antara IL-15 dan IL-2.

IL-15 juga menginduksi aktivasi enzim JAK kinase, selain aktivator transkripsi STAT-3, STAT-5, STAT-6, dan fosforilasi.

Pada model tikus, IL-15 meningkatkan ekspresi inhibitor apoptosis BCL2L1/BCL-x(L).

Defisiensi pada IL-15 ditemukan pada pasien dengan rheumatoid arthritis, penyakit radang usus dan penyakit yang disebabkan infeksi retrovirus seperti HIV dan HTLV-I.^[6]
