kodkod (Leopardus guigna), juga disebut Guina, adalah kucing terkecil di Amerika dan juga memiliki penyebaran terkecil, yang ditemukan terutama di tengah dan selatan Chili dan marginal di daerah perbatasan Argentina. Pada tahun 2002, IUCN mengklasifikasikan kodkod sebagai Rentan sebagai ukuran total populasi efektif mungkin kurang dari 10.000 individu dewasa, dengan kecenderungan menurun karena kehilangan dasar habitat dan mangsanya dan penganiayaan, dan tidak ada subpopulasi memiliki ukuran populasi efektif lebih besar dari 1.000 individu dewasa.[2]
