Jordan 197 adalah mobil Formula Satu yang digunakan tim Jordan Grand Prix untuk berkompetisi di Kejuaraan Dunia Formula Satu musim 1997. Mobil itu ditenagai oleh mesin Peugeot A14 V10 3 liter dan menggunakan ban Goodyear.
Setelah musim 1996 yang mengecewakan, Eddie Jordan memilih untuk menggantikan Rubens Barrichello dan Martin Brundle dengan dua pembalap muda yang tidak berpengalaman - rookie Jerman Ralf Schumacher, adik dari Juara Dunia Michael Schumacher, dan Giancarlo Fisichella dari Italia, yang telah membalap delapan balapan untuk Minardi di 1996.
