Maikong (Cerdocyon thous), atau dikenal dengan nama crab-eating fox (bahasa Inggris), adalah sebuah spesies canid hidup berukuran sedang yang endemik ke bagian tengah Amerika Selatan sejak setidaknya masa Pleistosen.[4] Seperti rubah amerika selatan, yang ada pada genus Lycalopex, spesies ini tidak berkerabat dekat dengan rubah sejati. Nama genusnya berasal dari kata Bahasa Yunani kerdo ("rubah") dan kyon ("anjing"), yang merujuk kepada ciri tubuh kewan ini yang mirip anjing dan rubah.[5]
