Juravenator adalah genus dinosaurus theropoda tetanurae yang hidup sekitar 152 atau 151 juta tahun yang lalu di wilayah Jura Franconia modern di Jerman (Formasi Torleite[1]) selama periode Jura Akhir. Spesimen yang diketahui hanyalah satu spesimen muda yang berukuran sekitar 75 cm panjangnya.

Juravenator merupakan hewan pemangsa bipedal kecil. Holotipenya mewakili seekor individu juvenil sepanjang sekitar 75 cm. pada 2006 dan 2010, Göhlich menentukan beberapa ciri diagnostik. Empat gigi pada pramaksila di depan moncongnya memiliki gerigi di sepertiga teratas tepi belakang dari mahkota giginya. Di antara barisan gigi pramaksila dan barisan gigi maksila tidak terdapat hiatus. Gigi maksilanya berjumlah sedikit, delapan pada holotipenya. Lekuk (fossa) untuk bukaan tengkorak besar, atau fenestra antorbitalis, panjang dan memanjang jauh ke depan. Humerusnya relatif pendek. Cakar pada tangannya tinggi di dasarnya, kemudian secara tiba-tiba meramping secara transversal di tengahnya. Zigapofisis di tengah ekornya berbentuk busur.[2][3]
