Asfaltovenator (berarti "Pemburu Formasi Cañadón Asfalto" setelah formasi tempat fosilnya ditemukan) adalah sebuah genus dinosaurus (kemungkinan allosauroidea) dari periode Jura Awal (Toarkium tengah) dari Formasi Cañadón Asfalto di Provinsi Chubut, Argentina Spesies tipe sekaligus satu-satunya adalah Asfaltovenator vialidadi.

Asfaltovenator merupakan hewan yang cukup besar dan sebanding ukurannya dengan Allosaurus, dengan panjang tengkorak holotipenya yaitu 75–80 cm (2,46–2,62 ft) dan perkiraan panjang tubuh yaitu 7–8 m (23–26 ft).[2]
